Valerie Summerlin, RN, MS, NEA-BC, CLSSGB has more than 40 years of experience in post-acute services, including chronic care, sub-acute, rehabilitation, and home health.
As a senior healthcare executive/nurse executive, Valerie has expertise in:

She has also served for over 20 years as a CARF surveyor.
Valerie holds a Master’s degree in Nursing (Clinical Nurse Specialist) from the University of Maryland School of Nursing and was the first recipient of the American Lung Association’s nursing scholarship, focused on Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
She is certified as a Nurse Executive Advanced (ANCC) and as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CLSSGB).

Outside of work, Valerie enjoys reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
